Hello all!

What is rfpnc?  That’s the question I’ve a lot over the last few weeks, so I’ll try to give a high-level view.  In a nutshell, rfpnc is a way for local municipalities – towns, villages, cities, etc – to create and run a Request For Proposal process.

Watching some of my friends deal with RFPs from local governments was always painful – often times the folks putting together the RFP were already juggling too many other tasks, and the RFP generally suffered as a result.  Trying to get questions clarified took ages, and sometimes the answers didn’t help all that much.  Later on, I ended up working with some local government agencies and experienced much the same thing.

rfpnc is a tool to help guide municipalities write better RFPs as well as help them deal with incoming bids and questions.
